Kaohsiung Museum of History

It was originally as the Kaohsiung Office in 1939 and became national monument after meiji urban plan. After February 28 incident and all kind of city development in 1992, it was named as Kaohsiung Museum in 1998 and became the first Museum of History which ran by local government. The look of the imperial crown building is to prevent the bombing from enemy and the color of light green also has certain meaning about national defense. The design of the building is very solemn.
